St. Dalfour Puff Pastry Blackcurrant Braid

INGREDIENTS
2 cups fresh blackcurrants
5 oz. blackcurrant fruit spread
1 sheet puff pastry thawed
1 egg plus 1 tsp water for egg wash
1 Tablespoon sugar
INSTRUCTIONS
- Slice Puff Pastry into 3 strands (lengthwise)
- Spread St Dalfour Blackcurrant fruit spread onto puff pastry strands. Add blackcurrants for texture.
- Braid puff pastry. Brush over top with egg wash.
- Bake for 25 minutes at 400 degrees.
- Serve warm with ice cream.
